Nice to meet you!
My name is Rhiannon Baisch and I am happy to be serving as an educator in the greater Seattle area!
Background
Growing up in Bellevue, WA, I have always been around children. Together, my parents started a family home daycare before I was born and they are still operating to this day! Throughout the years, I have also served as a camp counselor many times both in high school and in college. Growing up, I knew I always had a passion for helping others, and finally found my place in teaching.
Education
I originally attended Washington State University for a degree in Cultural Anthropology, but still had a deep love for literature and writing. I also couldn’t forget my love of teaching either. So, after I finished my Cultural Anthropology degree, I set forward to also complete my English degree with a concentration in teaching.
With both degrees, I have a wide understanding of humanity and literature throughout both modern and ancient history. As I began my teaching journey, I also started teaching other subjects like math, art, test preparation and college essay help!
Being a Teacher
I finally began working as a middle school teacher after years of tutoring at an amazing private school in Seattle. Teaching the children here has given me a much deeper understanding of what it’s like to teach!
Now with my education, training, and years of experience, I take my knowledge and passion for learning into my teaching and hope to inspire all of my students to find that same passion in their academics!
